Bad Veins are a two piece band hailing from Cincinnati, OH who have toured and recorded since 2006, but just released their debut self-titled LP this Summer. Equal parts The Killers and The Walkmen, but with a splash of the Strokes' Lo-fi vocals, Bad Veins pair fantastic hooks with powerful lyrics in neat 3-minute songs.
I don't have their entire album yet, but one song in particular that I love is entitled "Falling Tide" and is featured in the video below.
Bad Veins are currently on tour through October 29th, but sadly, don't come further North than Philadelphia. Check them out all the same:
